CareGator™ demonstration app
This Privacy Policy explains how Advocacy Labs, Inc. ("Advocacy Labs," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the CareGator™ demonstration app (the "Demo App") that we share for preview and feedback. You may access the Demo App through Apple's TestFlight on iOS, as a direct installation on Android, or through a web browser. Please read this policy before using the Demo App.
The short version
The Demo App is an early preview of CareGator™ that we share to gather feedback. Everything shown inside it, such as example visits, summaries, medications, and people, is fictional sample content we created to show how CareGator™ is designed to work. The Demo App is not a medical service. It does not provide medical advice and should not be used to make health decisions.
When you use the Demo App, we do not collect or store:
The Demo App does not connect to a CareGator™ account or server to store information about you. Any selections you make while exploring the Demo App stay on your device for that session and are not sent to us.
The Demo App shows how a future recording feature is designed to look, using example content only. It does not access your microphone. It does not record real conversations, and it does not capture, save, or transmit audio.
We distribute the Demo App through three channels depending on your device and preference.
iOS (Apple TestFlight). On iPhone, you may receive the Demo App through Apple's TestFlight. When you use a TestFlight app, Apple collects information such as crash logs and usage details and shares them with us so we can improve the app. If you send feedback through TestFlight, we receive your comments and any screenshots you include. If we invited you by email, your email address is visible to us alongside your feedback. Apple's handling of your information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and the TestFlight terms, which are available inside the TestFlight app.
Android (direct installation). On Android, you may receive the Demo App as an APK file that you install directly on your device. No app store or testing platform collects information on our behalf through this channel.
Web (browser). You may also access the Demo App through a web browser at a URL we provide. The Demo App runs entirely in your browser and does not transmit data to us. We do not place cookies or use tracking within the Demo App itself. Standard web hosting infrastructure may process basic technical information (such as your IP address) as part of delivering the page to your browser, but we do not actively collect, store, or analyze this information.
Regardless of which channel you use, the Demo App itself does not transmit personal data to us.
Before receiving access to the Demo App, we ask you to review and accept our Terms of Service through a brief registration form. This form collects:
We use this information to manage access to the Demo App, to send you access links, and to maintain a record of Terms of Service agreements. This registration data is stored in a private system accessible only to Advocacy Labs™ team members. We do not use this information for marketing purposes and do not share it with third parties.
This privacy policy page is hosted on the Advocacy Labs™ website (advocacylabs.com), which uses Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our website. When you visit this page or other pages on our website, Google Analytics may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. This is standard website analytics used to improve our site. It is entirely separate from the Demo App, which does not use Google Analytics or any other tracking. If you contact us directly, for example by emailing [email protected], we will receive whatever information you include in your message, such as your email address and comments. We use this only to respond to you and to improve CareGator™. We do not sell or rent this information.
The Demo App is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
This policy covers the CareGator™ demonstration app only. When CareGator™ becomes available as a full product with live features, we will provide an updated privacy policy describing how information is handled at that time. If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
